Role & responsibilities Technical Oversight for Transformer Repair and Overhauling: ( Location On-site OMAN) Lead repair and overhauling activities for distribution and power transformers. Conduct root cause analysis for faults and ensure timely resolution. Supervise the inspection, repair, and replacement of transformer components such as windings, cores, and insulation. On-Site Maintenance and Monitoring: Plan and execute preventive and corrective maintenance tasks on transformers. Ensure compliance with safety and performance standards. Prepare detailed maintenance reports and recommendations for improvements. Testing and Quality Assurance: Perform high-voltage tests, insulation resistance tests, and load tests. Validate transformer performance against industry standards and specifications. Oversee final commissioning to ensure optimal operational readiness. Project Coordination and Team Management: Manage on-site technicians and ensure efficient execution of maintenance schedules. Coordinate with clients and internal teams to address technical concerns. Provide engineering support for troubleshooting and operational challenges. Continuous Improvement and Compliance: Implement best practices for transformer repair and maintenance. Stay updated on the latest industry standards and technological advancements. Ensure adherence to safety protocols and regulatory guidelines. Preferred candidate profile Experience: Minimum of 5 years in transformer repair, overhauling, and maintenance. Education: Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or equivalent. Skills: In-depth knowledge of transformer diagnostics, testing, and maintenance. Strong leadership and project management capabilities. Familiarity with international standards such as IEC and ANSI.
