Purbanchal Paper Mill LLP, located in Goalpara, is seeking a dedicated and experienced Security In-Charge to oversee and manage the security operations of our facility. Key Responsibilities: Security Operations Management: Oversee the daily security operations, ensuring the safety and security of the facility, employees, and visitors. Develop and implement security policies, protocols, and procedures to protect the company’s assets. Monitor and manage access control systems, including the issuance of ID cards, visitor passes, and vehicle permits. Team Leadership and Supervision: Lead, train, and manage the security team, including security guards and other personnel. Assign duties and responsibilities to security staff, ensuring they are effectively performing their roles. Conduct regular briefings and training sessions to keep the security team updated on protocols and emergency procedures. Surveillance and Monitoring: Oversee the operation of CCTV cameras and other surveillance equipment to monitor activities within and around the facility. Regularly review security footage and reports to detect and investigate any suspicious activities or breaches. Ensure the proper maintenance and functioning of all security equipment. Emergency Response: Develop and implement emergency response plans for various scenarios, including fire, theft, and other security threats. Coordinate with local law enforcement and emergency services in case of an incident. Lead and conduct regular emergency drills and training for staff to ensure preparedness. Incident Reporting and Investigation: Investigate security breaches, incidents, and other issues, and prepare detailed reports on findings. Maintain accurate records of all security-related activities, incidents, and investigations. Recommend and implement corrective actions to prevent future incidents. Perimeter and Access Control: Ensure the security of the facility’s perimeter, including regular patrols and checks on gates, fences, and other access points. Manage the entry and exit of vehicles, personnel, and materials, ensuring compliance with company policies. Implement and enforce visitor management systems. Health and Safety Compliance: Ensure that all security operations comply with health and safety regulations. Conduct regular inspections to identify potential safety hazards and implement measures to mitigate risks. Work closely with the Health and Safety team to ensure a safe working environment for all employees. Coordination with Other Departments: Collaborate with other departments, including HR and operations, to address security concerns and enhance overall safety. Provide security support during special events, high-profile visits, and other activities as required. Ensure clear communication channels are maintained with all relevant stakeholders. Budget and Resource Management: Manage the security budget, ensuring cost-effective use of resources. Procure and maintain security equipment, uniforms, and other necessary supplies. Monitor and control expenses to stay within budgetary limits. Continuous Improvement: Continuously assess and improve security measures to adapt to evolving threats. Stay updated on the latest security technologies, practices, and regulations. Implement best practices to enhance the overall security posture of the facility. Qualifications: A minimum of 5-7 years of experience in security management, preferably in an industrial or manufacturing setting. Proven experience in leading and managing security teams. Strong knowledge of security systems, procedures, and emergency response protocols. Excellent leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.
