As a Game Tester Certification & QA at Basta Tech Solutions Pvt. Ltd., you will be an integral part of our expanding QA team, dedicated to ensuring top-quality and certified game releases in the iGaming domain. With a minimum of 3 to 4 years of experience in game testing, including at least 1 year within the iGaming industry, you will utilize your expertise in game testing methodologies, documentation, and certification processes to contribute to the success of our gaming platforms. Your responsibilities will include conducting functional, regression, compatibility, and performance testing on games across various platforms such as web, mobile, and desktop. You will be responsible for creating, maintaining, and updating test cases, test plans, and test reports specific to gaming products. Detailed bug reporting using tools like Jira, Bugzilla, or similar platforms will be a crucial aspect of your role. Collaboration with developers, designers, and product teams will be essential to ensure high-quality game releases. Your role will also involve understanding and applying certification standards from gaming authorities like GLI, BMM, UKGC, and MGA for game submissions and approvals. You will prepare detailed certification documentation as per jurisdictional requirements and provide support during compliance and regulatory audits related to game certifications. Staying updated with certification protocols, compliance updates, and new testing tools will be a key part of your responsibilities. To excel in this role, you should possess strong knowledge of game mechanics, UI/UX, and overall game flow. Experience in writing test cases, preparing documentation, and executing test scenarios is crucial. Proficiency in defect management tools such as Jira, TestRail, or similar platforms is required, and a basic understanding of programming/scripting would be an added advantage. Good communication and analytical skills will also be beneficial in this position. Preferred certifications for this role include ISTQB Certified Tester with a specialization in Game Testing, Game QA or Certification Training from recognized platforms, and any jurisdiction-specific game certification knowledge (GLI, BMM Labs, etc.). Key skills for success in this role include Game Testing, iGaming Testing, Game Certification Process, Test Documentation, Functional & Regression Testing, Jira/TestRail/Bug Reporting, Compliance & QA Processes, and GLI/BMM/MGA/UKGC certification understanding.
