A "JDE Manufacturing" role focuses on managing and optimizing manufacturing processes using Oracle JD Edwards EnterpriseOne software. Your primary tasks will involve data analysis, process improvement, system configuration, user training, and troubleshooting related to JDE manufacturing modules. You will be responsible for troubleshooting and issue resolution, including identifying and resolving issues related to JDE manufacturing functionality and ensuring adherence to defined Service Level Agreements. Timely issue resolution is essential to meet service level agreements. Additionally, your role will involve system configuration tasks such as setting up and maintaining manufacturing parameters within JDE, including bill of materials (BOMs), routings, work orders, and inventory management. You will also be responsible for process analysis and improvement by identifying bottlenecks, proposing process changes, and implementing them using JDE functionality. Data analysis and reporting are crucial aspects of the role, requiring you to generate reports on production metrics like lead times, scrap rates, and capacity utilization using JDE reporting tools. You will also provide training to shop floor personnel and other users on effectively utilizing JDE manufacturing modules. Furthermore, you will be involved in coordinating data flow between JDE manufacturing modules and other enterprise systems like ERP, CRM, or MES. Strong experience in JDE Manufacturing and Sales and Distribution modules is required, including expertise in various areas such as Manufacturing, Product Data Management, Product Costing, Shop Floor Management, Inventory Management, Distribution, Sales Order Management, Advanced Pricing, Procurement, and more. Experience and knowledge of JDE Finance and JDE Capital Asset Management are considered advantageous. A strong understanding of manufacturing processes, experience with data analysis and reporting tools, excellent communication and training skills, as well as the ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams are essential for success in this role.,

You will be responsible for working independently with the business to gather their requirements by conducting meetings and interviews, as well as facilitating large group and cross-functional sessions with stakeholders. You will be expected to write functional and data requirements specifications and develop business process and data models that accurately define the business needs. As part of your role, you will lead the integration testing effort, which includes developing test plans, test cases, scenarios, and documenting the results. Additionally, you will collaborate with the development and testing teams for unit and functional testing. Your responsibilities will also include working closely with the business to conduct User Acceptance Testing, identifying the root cause of issues, and fixing them at their core. You will need to have knowledge of data migration, documentation, setups related to the Manufacturing Module, and develop functional specs and testing for CRP, SIT, UAT, and post go-live support. Menu creation, security, and EDI knowledge are also essential aspects of this role. It is essential that you have the ability to relate the product functionality to business processes effectively and offer implementation advice to customers on how to meet their various business scenarios. This position requires a strong understanding of JDE Manufacturing and the skills to work on Menu creation, security, and EDI knowledge. Additionally, having knowledge of the JIRA process would be an added advantage. You will be based in Pune and should have an educational background in BE/Btech.
