Job Summary

Java Spring Boot Microservices Developer

Key Responsibilities

Design and develop scalable, high-performance applications using Java and Spring Boot.
Build and maintain Microservices-based applications.
Design and implement RESTful APIs and integration services.
Participate in High-Level Design (HLD) and Low-Level Design (LLD) discussions.
Drive architecture decisions and technical solutions.
Optimize application performance and ensure security best practices.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams in Agile/Scrum environments.
Mentor junior developers and conduct code reviews.
Troubleshoot production issues and provide root cause analysis.
Implement CI/CD pipelines and DevOps best practices.

Required Skills

Strong experience in
Java 8/11/17/21
.
Expertise in
Spring Boot, Spring MVC, Spring Security, Spring Data JPA
.
Hands-on experience with
Microservices Architecture
.
Strong knowledge of
REST APIs
, API Gateway, and Service Discovery.
Experience with
Hibernate/JPA
.
Experience with
Kafka, RabbitMQ, ActiveMQ
or similar messaging systems.
Strong SQL and database design skills.
Experience with
Oracle, MySQL, PostgreSQL, MongoDB
.
Knowledge of design patterns and object-oriented principles.
Strong understanding of multithreading and concurrency.
Experience working in Agile methodologies.

Cloud & DevOps

AWS or Azure Cloud experience.
Docker and Kubernetes.
Jenkins, GitHub Actions, Azure DevOps.
CI/CD implementation.
Infrastructure as Code knowledge is preferred.

Nice to Have

Spring Cloud.
gRPC and Protocol Buffers.
OAuth2, JWT, SSO, MFA.
Redis, Elasticsearch.
OpenShift.
GenAI/AI Integration experience.
React.js or Angular exposure.

Leadership Expectations (12+ Years)

Lead application architecture and design initiatives.
Own technical decisions and solution reviews.
Mentor engineering teams.
Engage with stakeholders and business teams.
Drive engineering best practices and delivery excellence.
