Job Description

Role Overview: At Capgemini Engineering, the world leader in engineering services, you will be joining a global team of engineers, scientists, and architects to support innovative companies in unleashing their potential. As a Java Backend Senior Lead/Architect, you will have the opportunity to work in an Embedded Linux environment, provide technical leadership to software teams, and contribute to unique R&D and engineering services across various industries. Your role will involve hands-on software development, object-oriented design and implementation, as well as strong programming and debugging skills using Java, C, C++, or Python. Additionally, you will utilize your knowledge of IP networking protocols, database, web technologies, and experience with virtualization, containerization, and microservices architecture. Key Responsibilities: - Hands-on software development in an Embedded Linux environment - Providing technical leadership to software teams - Implementing Object Oriented Design and Implementation principles - Programming and debugging using Java, C, C++, or Python - Having a strong knowledge of IP networking protocols and technologies - Working with database and web technologies - Experience with virtualization and containerization (VirtualBox, Docker, KVM) - Knowledge of microservice architecture and event-driven system design - Experience in Agile software development (story & sprint) Qualifications Required: - Hands-on experience in software development in an Embedded Linux environment - Strong skills in Object Oriented Design and Implementation - Proficiency in programming and debugging using Java, C, C++, or Python - Knowledge of IP networking protocols and technologies - Experience with database and web technologies - Familiarity with virtualization, containerization, and microservice architecture - Experience in Agile software development methodologies (Note: Additional details about Capgemini as a global business and technology transformation partner have been omitted from the job description.),
