Java Selenium Test BDD

As a Senior Automation Test Engineer, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining robust test automation suites using Java, Selenium, BDD Frameworks (like Cucumber), and Rest Assured for API testing. Your key responsibilities will include: - Designing and developing automated test scripts using Java and Selenium WebDriver. - Implementing and maintaining automation frameworks such as BDD (Cucumber, JBehave). - Performing API testing using Rest Assured to ensure end-to-end validation of backend services. - Working closely with development and QA teams to integrate automation into CI/CD pipelines. - Debugging, maintaining, and improving automation scripts for better stability and coverage. - Analyzing test results, reporting defects, and collaborating with developers for resolution. - Ensuring test automation best practices are followed across projects. - Participating in sprint planning, reviews, and retrospectives to ensure quality delivery. Qualifications required for this role include: - Strong programming experience in Core Java. - Hands-on expertise in Selenium WebDriver and automation frameworks. - Proficiency in BDD frameworks (Cucumber, JBehave, or SpecFlow). - Experience with API automation testing using Rest Assured. - Good understanding of software testing lifecycle (STLC) and agile methodologies. - Familiarity with Maven/Gradle, Git, Jenkins, and TestNG/JUnit. - Excellent problem-solving and debugging skills. - Strong communication and collaboration abilities. It is good to have experience with Docker, CI/CD pipelines, or cloud-based testing platforms, knowledge of performance testing tools or mobile automation, and exposure to microservices testing and data validation using SQL.
