As a compassionate mentor, you will play a crucial role in guiding and nurturing a team of fresh graduates tasked with developing innovative digital banking solutions. Your primary responsibilities will include: - Mentoring and coaching the team to build scalable, maintainable, and secure applications. - Collaborating with the Product Manager to translate business needs into technical requirements. - Reviewing code, providing constructive feedback, and ensuring high coding standards. - Guiding the team in developing, testing, and optimizing solutions using Java (Spring Boot) and ReactJS. - Creating a supportive and inclusive environment that fosters continuous learning. - Conducting short technical sessions or hands-on workshops to enhance team confidence and capability. In terms of technical skills, you should possess: - Strong expertise in Java, Spring Boot, and REST API development. - Proficiency in ReactJS, JavaScript (ES6+), HTML5, and CSS3. - Familiarity with SQL/NoSQL databases (e.g., PostgreSQL, MongoDB). - Experience with Git and CI/CD workflows. - Exposure to banking or fintech domains is considered advantageous. Furthermore, the ideal candidate should demonstrate the following soft skills: - Empathetic and patient communication style that excels in mentoring and guiding others. - Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities. - Ability to align product goals with technical execution. - Team-oriented mindset focused on collaboration and quality. Preferred qualifications for this role include: - Bachelors or Masters degree in Computer Science, IT, or a related field. - Prior experience in mentoring or leading junior developers. - Experience working in agile environments with sprint-based delivery.
