As a Java Front End Developer in Chennai on a Contract to Hire basis, your main role will involve performing initial analysis of identified vulnerabilities such as XSS and outdated libraries. You will be responsible for defining technical remediation strategies and leading the onboarding process for applications, including setup, documentation, and local environment configuration. Providing hands-on support to developers in troubleshooting technical issues, ensuring code changes adhere to secure coding standards, and overseeing code updates in legacy applications built with JSP and traditional Java frameworks will be part of your responsibilities. Additionally, you will review and approve pull requests, oversee upgrades of outdated third-party dependencies, provide technical leadership and mentorship to a team of developers, and coordinate with cross-functional teams to ensure alignment and progress. Effective communication with stakeholders on progress, blockers, and technical decisions is essential.
