Job Summary

Senior Java Developer

Key Responsibilities

  • Design, develop, and maintain robust Java-based enterprise applications.
  • Architect and implement Microservices-based solutions using Spring Boot.
  • Develop RESTful APIs and integrate with internal and external systems.
  • Lead technical discussions, code reviews, and architecture decisions.
  • Optimize application performance, scalability, and security.
  • Collaborate with business analysts, architects, DevOps, and QA teams.
  • Drive best practices in coding, testing, and deployment.
  • Mentor junior developers and provide technical guidance.
  • Participate in Agile ceremonies and contribute to project planning.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve complex production issues.

Required Skills

  • 9–11 years of hands-on experience in Java development.
  • Strong expertise in

    Core Java (Java 8/11/17)

    .
  • Extensive experience with

    Spring Boot, Spring MVC, Spring Security, and Microservices

    .
  • Strong knowledge of REST APIs and Web Services.
  • Experience with ORM frameworks such as Hibernate/JPA.
  • Hands-on experience with SQL databases (Oracle, SQL Server, PostgreSQL, MySQL).
  • Knowledge of NoSQL databases such as MongoDB or Cassandra.
  • Experience with messaging technologies like Kafka, RabbitMQ, or ActiveMQ.
  • Familiarity with Docker, Kubernetes, and containerized deployments.
  • Experience working with AWS, Azure, or GCP cloud platforms.
  • Knowledge of CI/CD pipelines using Jenkins, GitHub Actions, GitLab CI, or Azure DevOps.
  • Strong understanding of Design Patterns, SOLID Principles, and Distributed Systems.

Preferred Skills

  • Experience in event-driven architecture.
  • Knowledge of API Gateway and Service Mesh technologies.
  • Experience with monitoring tools such as Splunk, ELK, Grafana, or Prometheus.
  • Exposure to DevOps and Site Reliability Engineering (SRE) practices.
  • Certification in Java or Cloud technologies is an added advantage.

Educational Qualification

  • Bachelor's or Master's Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related discipline.
