Job Description

Key Responsibilities: Design, develop, and maintain scalable microservices using Java (Spring Boot or similar frameworks). Build RESTful APIs and integrate with databases, message queues, and third-party services. Containerize applications using Docker and manage deployments on Kubernetes clusters. Collaborate with DevOps teams for CI/CD pipeline integration and deployment automation. Monitor and troubleshoot production issues related to performance, reliability, and scalability. Participate in code reviews, design discussions, and agile ceremonies. Ensure best practices in coding, security, and performance tuning. Required Skills: 4-8 years of experience in Java backend development. Proficient in Java 8+ and frameworks like Spring Boot, Spring Cloud. Hands-on experience with Docker and Kubernetes (GKE/EKS/AKS or self-managed clusters). Solid understanding of RESTful API development and microservices architecture. Familiarity with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or GCP). Experience with tools like Maven/Gradle, Git, Jenkins, Helm. Good understanding of observability tools (Prometheus, Grafana, ELK, etc.). Strong problem-solving and debugging skills. Preferred Qualifications: Experience with service mesh (Istio, Linkerd) or Kubernetes Operators. Knowledge of reactive programming (e.g., Spring WebFlux). Exposure to Kafka or similar messaging systems. Understanding of security best practices in containerized environments. Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
