As an experienced Java Developer joining our focused remediation team in Chennai, TN, you will be responsible for addressing security issues in legacy web applications. Your role will involve updating web application codebases built with JSP and traditional Java frameworks, applying secure coding practices to resolve vulnerabilities like Cross-Site Scripting (XSS), and upgrading outdated dependencies to address known vulnerabilities. Key Responsibilities: - Update web application codebases built with JSP and traditional Java frameworks, focusing on resolving vulnerabilities like Cross-Site Scripting (XSS). - Upgrade outdated dependencies such as commons-fileupload, springframework, etc. to address known vulnerabilities. - Collaborate effectively using Git, follow established workflows, and participate in peer-reviewed pull requests.
