Description
Responsibilities: Design, develop, and maintain high-performance microservices using Java and Spring Boot . Implement and manage Kong API Gateway for API security, rate limiting, authentication, and traffic control . Develop and optimize RESTful APIs , ensuring scalability and performance. Work with Kong plugins (custom and built-in) to enhance API capabilities. Ensure secure API access using OAuth 2.0, JWT, API Keys, and Mutual TLS authentication . Monitor and troubleshoot API performance issues using Kong Analytics, Prometheus, and Grafana . Develop CI/CD pipelines for automated deployment and API versioning. Optimize database queries (PostgreSQL/MySQL/MongoDB) and integrate APIs with backend databases. Implement log aggregation and monitoring using ELK Stack or Splunk . Collaborate with DevOps teams for Docker, Kubernetes, and cloud deployments (AWS/Azure/GCP). Ensure best practices in API security, rate limiting, and access control . Write unit tests and integration tests to validate API functionality. Required Skills: Java (Spring Boot, Spring Cloud) Strong hands-on experience in microservices development. Kong API Gateway – Hands-on experience in Kong Gateway configuration and plugin management. API Development – Expertise in designing and implementing RESTful APIs. Authentication & Security – Experience with OAuth 2.0, JWT, API Keys, and Mutual TLS. Database Integration – Proficiency in PostgreSQL, MySQL, or MongoDB. Cloud Platforms – Experience with AWS, Azure, or GCP for API hosting. CI/CD Pipelines – Jenkins, GitHub Actions, or GitLab CI/CD for API deployments. Logging & Monitoring – ELK Stack, Splunk, Prometheus, Grafana for API performance monitoring. Docker & Kubernetes – Experience in containerized deployments and orchestration.
