Job Summary: We are seeking a highly skilled Java/Spring Boot Developer with proven experience in modernizing applications through framework migration, specifically from .NET Core to Java and ReactJS to Angular. The ideal candidate will also have hands-on experience using AI-assisted coding tools such as GitHub Copilot, CodiumAI, Anthropic Claude, or similar, to enhance productivity and code quality. Key Responsibilities: Lead and contribute to framework migration efforts from .NET Core to Java and ReactJS to Angular. Design and develop scalable backend services using Java 17+, Spring Boot, and REST APIs. Collaborate with front-end teams for integration with Angular applications. Leverage LLMs and AI coding assistants to optimize development cycles, refactoring, and documentation. Ensure best practices in code quality, security, and performance. Participate in agile ceremonies including sprint planning, code reviews, and retrospectives. Write and maintain unit, integration, and system tests. Contribute to technical documentation and maintain knowledge of emerging tools and practices. Required Skills & Qualifications: 5+ years of Java development experience, with expertise in Spring Boot and REST APIs. Proven experience migrating applications from .NET Core to Java. Hands-on experience in frontend migration from ReactJS to Angular (preferably Angular 14+). Experience with AI-assisted development tools like GitHub Copilot, CodiumAI, Claude, Tabnine, etc. Strong knowledge of microservices architecture, containerization (Docker), and CI/CD pipelines. Familiarity with relational and NoSQL databases (e.g., PostgreSQL, MongoDB). Solid understanding of testing frameworks (JUnit, Mockito, Cypress, etc.). Excellent communication skills and ability to work in cross-functional teams. Nice to Have: Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, GCP, or Azure). Knowledge of DevOps practices and tools (Kubernetes, Jenkins, Terraform). Contributions to open-source or AI-enhanced coding projects. Exposure to code transformation tools and automated refactoring frameworks.
