Role:We are looking for a seasoned Java Developer with over 8 years of experience in building and maintaining scalable, high-performance applications. The ideal candidate will have a strong command of core Java, distributed systems, and event-driven architectures, with expertise in both backend and frontend development. This role requires deep knowledge of Spring Boot, RESTful APIs, microservices architecture, and cloud platforms, particularly AWS. The developer should be comfortable working in Agile environments and have a collaborative approach to problem-solving and continuous improvement. Prior experience in the hospitality domain will be a plus.Responsibilities:Design and develop core Java applications using Java 11+ features such as Streams, Lambdas, and Functional Programming..Build and maintain microservices using Spring Boot and the Spring Framework..Develop and integrate RESTful APIs..Work with persistence technologies including JPA, Hibernate, MS-SQL, and PostgreSQL..Implement and monitor distributed systems and event-driven architectures..Build and manage CI/CD pipelines using Jenkins, GitLab CI, GitHub Actions, or AWS DevOps..Deploy and manage applications on cloud platforms like AWS (preferred), Azure, or GCP..Develop responsive frontend interfaces using React or Angular with HTML, CSS3, and Tailwind..Utilize container orchestration platforms like EKS, AKS, or GKE..Apply Domain-Driven Design (DDD) and Backend-for-Frontend (BFF) concepts..Integrate applications with various cloud services and APIs..Work with event-driven technologies such as Kafka, MQ, or Event Buses..Optimize code and database queries for performance and scalability..Follow Agile methodologies and participate in iterative development and demos..Use Git for version control and collaborate with team members effectively..Leverage best practices for software development, deployment, and monitoring..Contribute to solution design discussions and technical documentation..Excellent programming experience in Java, J2EE, Spring, Webservices, Microservices..Knowledge of advanced Java concepts like lambda expressions, functional interfaces, generics, collections, threads, etc..Expertise working with Spring framework, Spring Boot, JPA..Strong knowledge of Data Structures& Algorithms..Knowledge of RESTful paradigms and experience of building & consuming APIs..Experience working with Databases..Have worked on Dockers, Kubernetes and Azure cloud..Ability to quickly learn and adapt to new technologies..Good communication and excellent problem-solving skills.
