As a Java Backend Engineer, your role involves designing, developing, and maintaining scalable backend services using Java and related frameworks. You will be responsible for implementing RESTful APIs and integrating them with front-end applications and third-party services. It is essential to optimize application performance to ensure high availability and reliability. Collaboration with cross-functional teams such as Product, QA, and DevOps is necessary to deliver high-quality solutions. Your tasks will also include writing clean, maintainable, and well-documented code following best practices, participating in code reviews, and mentoring junior developers. Key Responsibilities: - Design, develop, and maintain scalable backend services using Java and related frameworks. - Implement RESTful APIs and integrate with front-end applications and third-party services. - Optimize application performance and ensure high availability and reliability. - Collaborate with cross-functional teams (Product, QA, DevOps) to deliver high-quality solutions. - Write clean, maintainable, and well-documented code following best practices. - Participate in code reviews and mentor junior developers. Qualifications Required: - Robust proficiency in Core Java, Spring Boot, and Microservices architecture. - Experience with REST APIs, JSON, and web services. - Knowledge of SQL/NoSQL databases (e.g., MySQL, PostgreSQL, MongoDB). - Familiarity with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or GCP) and CI/CD pipelines. - Understanding of design patterns, data structures, and algorithms. - Hands-on experience with version control systems (Git) and build tools (Maven/Gradle).
