Java Backend Developer Intern

As a Java Backend Developer Intern at our company based in Gurgaon, your role will involve assisting in the development and maintenance of backend services using Java, Spring Boot, and Spring MVC. Your responsibilities will include: - Assisting in developing and maintaining backend services using Java, Spring Boot, and Spring MVC. - Writing clean, maintainable, and efficient code. - Understanding and following REST API standards and integration practices. - Participating in code reviews, debugging, and testing activities. - Working closely with frontend developers, testers, and product teams. - Learning and following Agile/Scrum development processes. To excel in this role, you should have: - Solid understanding of Core Java and Object-Oriented Programming (OOP). - Basic knowledge of Spring Framework and Spring Boot. - Familiarity with RESTful API development. - Understanding of SQL and any relational database (e.g., MySQL, PostgreSQL). - Basic knowledge of tools like Git and Postman. - Willingness to learn and grow in a fast-paced development environment. Additionally, it would be good to have exposure to Hibernate/JPA, knowledge of Maven/Gradle build tools, familiarity with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure), and experience with unit testing frameworks like JUnit.
