Role & responsibilities Key Responsibilities 1. Student Counselling Interact with walk-in, call-in, and online inquiries. Understand the students career goals, interests, and educational background. Provide guidance on different courses offered (Animation, VFX, Graphic Design, Game Design, etc.). Match student interests with suitable programs and explain career prospects. 2. Admissions & Enrolment Handle end-to-end admission process from inquiry to registration. Maintain and update enquiry databases. Follow up with prospective students via calls, emails, and visits to ensure conversion. Achieve monthly and quarterly admission targets. 3. Communication & Coordination Coordinate with academic and placement departments for smooth student onboarding. Conduct and participate in orientation sessions and open house events. Maintain a professional and friendly relationship with students and parents. 4. Marketing & Outreach Support Participate in promotional campaigns, seminars, and workshops in schools/colleges. Support marketing teams in lead generation and follow-up activities. Represent Arena Animation in education fairs and exhibitions. 5. Administration & Reporting Maintain enquiry and admission records accurately. Prepare daily/weekly reports on counselling and admissions activities. Ensure timely feedback collection and address student concerns. 6. Student Retention & Support Stay in touch with enrolled students for satisfaction and course progress. Handle grievances or course-related concerns and escalate when necessary. Encourage students to participate in institute activities and contests. Skills & Attributes Required Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Knowledge of animation, design, and multimedia fields (basic understanding). Convincing and sales-oriented attitude. Good organizational and follow-up skills. Computer literacy (MS Office, CRM tools). Pleasant personality and student-friendly approach. Preferred candidate profile Preferred Candidate Profile Counsellor (Arena Animation) 1. Educational Qualification Graduate in any discipline (preferably in Arts, Commerce, Media, or Management). Additional certification or diploma in Counselling, Marketing, or Education Management is an advantage. Basic understanding or interest in Animation, VFX, Gaming, Graphic Design, or Multimedia fields preferred. 2. Work Experience 1–3 years of experience in student counselling, academic counselling, or front office roles in educational/training institutions. Freshers with excellent communication and presentation skills may also be considered. Experience in education sales, tele-counselling, or customer relationship roles is a strong plus. 3. Communication Skills Excellent verbal and written communication in English and local language(s). Strong presentation and interpersonal skills to engage with students and parents. Ability to explain creative and technical courses in simple, relatable terms. 4. Personality Traits Pleasant, approachable, and confident demeanor. Empathetic listener with a student-friendly attitude. Goal-oriented and proactive in achieving admission and counselling targets. Positive, energetic, and professional outlook. 5. Technical & Professional Skills Comfortable using MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and CRM/ERP software for record management. Familiar with social media platforms and basic digital communication tools. Ability to prepare and maintain counselling and admission reports accurately. 6.
