Job Title: Bottling Hall Operator Job Objective: To ensure the efficient, safe, and hygienic operation of the bottling line, delivering high-quality packaged products in line with production targets, company standards, and regulatory requirements. Key Responsibilities: Operate Machinery: Start, run, monitor, and shut down bottling equipment such as fillers, cappers, labelers, and packers. Quality Control: Inspect bottles for defects, monitor fill levels, cap integrity, and labeling accuracy to ensure product quality standards are maintained. Production Monitoring: Track production output, downtime, and machine performance, and report any issues to supervisors. Maintenance and Troubleshooting: Perform basic maintenance tasks (cleaning, lubrication, adjustments) and troubleshoot equipment malfunctions to minimize downtime. Safety Compliance: Follow health, safety, and environmental guidelines at all times, including proper use of PPE (Personal Protective Equipment). Hygiene and Cleaning: Maintain cleanliness of the bottling hall and equipment according to sanitation standards to ensure food/beverage safety. Team Collaboration: Work closely with fellow operators, technicians, and supervisors to meet production targets and resolve issues promptly. Documentation: Accurately complete production logs, maintenance checklists, and incident reports as required. Stock Handling: Manage supplies such as bottles, caps, and labels, ensuring correct usage and minimal waste. Skills and Qualifications: Previous experience in a bottling, packaging, or manufacturing environment preferred. Good mechanical aptitude and problem-solving skills. Strong attention to detail and quality. Ability to work shifts, including nights and weekends if required. Basic understanding of health & safety practices in a production environment. Physically fit and able to stand for long periods and handle moderate lifting. Performance Goals: Achieve daily/weekly production targets. Minimize machine downtime through effective operation and early troubleshooting. Maintain a clean and safe working environment. Consistently produce defect-free products.
