Company Description Jaipur Youth Force is a youth-led civic initiative dedicated to building an informed, empowered, and active citizen community in Jaipur. We focus on data-driven research, transparent public information, and community engagement to strengthen local governance and civic awareness. Role Overview As a Civic & Political Education Research Intern, you will contribute to creating Jaipur’s first transparent, accessible, and fact-based civic knowledge database. Your work will help citizens understand their constituencies, leaders, rights, and ongoing development projects. Key Responsibilities Collect detailed and accurate data on Jaipur’s constituencies Research MLA, MP, and Corporator profiles, including performance, projects, promises, and public records Prepare simplified explanations of government bodies and their roles & responsibilities Break down public budgets (roads, water, sanitation, infrastructure) into easy-to-understand formats Compile credible information about contractors, tenders, and development work Create Citizen Rights & Complaint Redressal Guides Convert research findings into concise summaries, reports, or content-ready modules Who Can Apply Students from Political Science, Public Policy, Journalism, Sociology, Humanities, or related fields Individuals with strong research, analysis, and writing skills Anyone interested in governance, civic education, or Jaipur’s local development Must be able to work independently and meet weekly targets Jaipur-based applicants preferred, but open to candidates across India 🌱 What You Will Gain Deep understanding of grassroots governance and civic systems Experience in research, documentation, and public communication Opportunity to contribute to a meaningful city-wide impact project Certificate of Completion Letter of Recommendation (based on performance) Mentorship from the JYF core team Your work may be published on JYF’s social media and public platforms Duration 4–8 weeks (Flexible) Work Schedule Fully remote and self-paced (weekly deliverables)
