We are seeking a versatile and organized individual to join our team as a Fashion Merchandiser cum Assistant Designer. You will bridge the gap between the creative vision and the production reality, assisting the Head Designer while managing the supply chain and production timelines for our ethnic wear collections. Key Responsibilities: Design & Creative: Assist in trend research, mood board creation, and sketching for seasonal ethnic collections (Kurtis, Suits, Lehengas, etc.). Create detailed Tech Packs and drawings for embroidery placements (Khaka). Source fabrics, trims, and accessories suitable for ethnic silhouettes. Coordinate with pattern masters and tailors for sampling and fitting corrections. Merchandising & Production: Prepare Bill of Materials (BOM) and initial costing sheets. Coordinate with vendors, dyers, and embroidery units to ensure timely sourcing and production. Track inventory of raw materials and manage stock levels. Ensure quality control (QC) at various stages of production (fabric inspection to finishing).
