In line with scaling operations and integrating advanced manufacturing technologies, we are currently seeking a dynamic IMOS Software Specialist to join our growing technical team. You will be responsible for creating detailed modular furniture designs using IMOS IX CAD/CAM, converting client briefs and architectural drawings into production-ready outputs, generating cutting lists and 3D renderings, and collaborating with design, sales, and production teams to ensure seamless execution. Additionally, you will optimize design outputs for CNC machines, assist in software configuration and template creation, and troubleshoot technical challenges related to IMOS and design outputs. The ideal candidate should possess a Degree/Diploma in Interior Design, Furniture Design, Mechanical Engineering, or a related field, along with at least 5 years of experience in using IMOS software. Proficiency in IX CAD/CAM modules, an understanding of modular furniture systems, materials, and production processes, and familiarity with CNC machining workflows are highly desired. Being detail-oriented, a good communicator, and a team player are essential qualities for this role. Nice-to-have qualifications include knowledge of other design tools like AutoCAD, SketchUp, or 3ds Max, prior experience in a modular furniture manufacturing setup, and a willingness to learn and adapt to new technologies.
