Italian IT Service Desk Engineer

We are looking for an experienced Italian Language IT Service Desk professional to provide technical support to Italian-speaking users. The ideal candidate should have strong communication skills in Italian and English, along with experience in IT service desk, technical support, and incident management.

Roles and Responsibilities

• Provide L1/L2 technical support to Italian-speaking users via phone, email, chat, and ticketing tools.
• Troubleshoot hardware, software, network, and application-related issues.
• Log, track, prioritize, and resolve incidents and service requests within defined SLAs.
• Support users with password resets, account unlocks, VPN, Outlook, MS Office, and access-related issues.
• Escalate complex technical issues to the appropriate support teams.
• Maintain accurate documentation of incidents, resolutions, and troubleshooting steps.
• Ensure timely follow-up and provide regular updates to end users.
• Deliver excellent customer service while maintaining IT support standards.

Required Skills

• Minimum 3+ years of experience in IT Service Desk, Technical Support, or Helpdesk operations.
• Proficiency in Italian (B2/C1 level preferred).
• Good English communication skills.
• Knowledge of Windows OS, MS Office, Outlook, Active Directory, VPN, and basic networking.
• Experience with ticketing tools such as ServiceNow, Jira, or Remedy.
• Understanding of ITIL processes, incident management, and service request management.
• Strong troubleshooting, customer service, and problem-solving skills.
• Willingness to work in rotational shifts, if required.

Education

• Graduate in any discipline preferred.
• IT or technical certifications are an added advantage.
