IT Pillar Specialist

As an IT Pillar Specialist, you will be responsible for analyzing and solving a range of straightforward IT Pillar problems with a moderate level of guidance. You will use your technical experience, judgment, and precedents to understand key business drivers and apply this knowledge to solve problems effectively. Additionally, you will play a crucial role in analyzing possible solutions, building knowledge of the company processes, and customers. Key Responsibilities: - Aid with technical requirements gathering and client meetings - Implement new SmartPlant Electrical environments to suit the scope of the project - Setup projects as per company and client requirements - Administer SmartPlant Electrical including creating Plant Breakdown Structure, access rights, naming conventions, symbology, filters, reports, system maintenance, etc. - Create Oracle database instances if not already existing - Maintain the SmartPlant Electrical database for projects including backups, reports, imports, data integrity, etc. - Troubleshoot and solve SmartPlant Electrical problems to ensure project integrity - Develop detailed project work instructions for users - Customize project deliverables such as Excel reports, project reports, custom symbols, import data from Excel, etc. - Provide project support including resolving user issues, creating Electrical entities, generating SLD, cable schedules, etc. - Coordinate with support teams and perform project upgrades as required - Develop replication plans and automation enhancements - Create setup documentation and ensure quality assurance of design efforts - Conduct training sessions for new users Qualifications Required: - Degree in engineering / Diploma in Engineering - Strong understanding of SP Electrical and other intelligent 2D Electrical applications - 6-10 years of experience in SP Electrical Administration - Good working knowledge of 2D CAD Applications - Exposure to detailed engineering and engineering best practices - Ability to effectively conduct training sessions for new users - Knowledge of SQL queries will be an asset - Experience with AVEVA Electrical, ETAP, Comos, and other Electrical tools will be considered as an asset - Knowledge in Excel VBA will be an added advantage The company has been driving the energy transition for more than 100 years with over 30,000 employees in 54 countries.
