Location : Tumkur

IT Operations & Infrastructure

• Manage and maintain IT infrastructure including servers, networks, systems, and end-user devices.
• Ensure high availability, performance, and security of IT systems.
• Oversee installation, configuration, maintenance, and upgrades of hardware and software.

Team & Vendor Management

• Lead, mentor, and manage the IT support team.
• Assign tasks, monitor performance, and ensure timely issue resolution.
• Coordinate with external vendors, service providers, and OEMs (Original Equipment Manufacturers) for IT services and procurement.

Security & Compliance

• Implement and enforce IT security policies, procedures, and best practices.
• Ensure data protection, backups, disaster recovery, and business continuity planning.
• Maintain compliance with company policies and applicable IT standards.

User Support & Service Management

• Ensure effective IT support for employees across departments.
• Monitor helpdesk operations and resolve escalated technical issues.
• Drive continuous improvement in IT service delivery.

Strategy & Planning

• Develop and execute IT strategies aligned with business goals.
• Prepare and manage IT budgets, forecasts, and cost optimization.
• Recommend new technologies to improve efficiency, productivity, and scalability.

Documentation & Reporting

• Maintain IT documentation, SOPs, asset records, and licenses.
• Prepare regular reports on IT performance, risks, and initiatives.

Required Skills & Competencies

• Strong knowledge of IT infrastructure, networking, systems, and cybersecurity.
• Leadership and team management skills.
• Problem-solving and decision-making ability.
• Vendor and project management experience.
• Good communication and stakeholder management skills

Desired Candidate Profile:

• 8-10 years of experience in IT operations/support.
• Minimum 2-3 years in a managerial or leadership role.
• Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.
• Relevant certifications (ITIL, Microsoft, Cisco, ISO, or similar) preferred.
