IP/Patent Administrator

As an Intellectual Property Associate at our company, your role will involve filing patent applications with the Indian Patent Office, the United States Patent and Trademark Office, and the World Intellectual Property Office in a timely manner to meet deadlines. You will be responsible for maintaining and managing our intellectual property client dockets, interacting successfully with international clients and foreign law firms, and developing and streamlining internal patent administration tasks and procedures. Additionally, you will be tasked with maintaining and updating client files, preparing forms for filing patent applications and international applications under the Patent Co-operation Treaty (PCT) in India and in the U.S., and tracking upcoming deadlines to notify the team and clients accordingly. Key Responsibilities: - Filing patent applications with various patent offices - Maintaining and managing intellectual property client dockets - Interacting with international clients and foreign law firms - Developing and streamlining internal patent administration tasks - Updating client files and preparing necessary forms - Tracking upcoming deadlines and notifying the team and clients - Reviewing documents from patent offices, notifying clients, filing responses, and updating client dockets - Preparing Information Disclosure Statements and Certification Statements for references cited in search reports - Preparing various patent-related documents such as Power of Attorney and Oath or Declaration Qualifications Required: - Any graduate or B.A LLB (5-year Law degree) graduate with at least 1 year of experience in a law firm, LPO, or company - Excellent writing, editing, and communication skills in English - Prior experience in US Patent and Trademark law is an advantage - Location preference: Bangalore In case you are interested, please send your CV to hr@unicitaconsulting.com.,
