You should have 3-6 years of experience and be proficient in Objective-C or Swift (depending on project requirements) and Cocoa Touch. Experience with iOS frameworks such as Core Data, Core Animation, etc. is required, along with knowledge of offline storage, threading, and performance tuning. It is essential to be familiar with RESTful APIs to connect iOS applications to back-end services and have an understanding of other web technologies and UI/UX standards. Moreover, a grasp of Apple's design principles and interface guidelines is necessary. Knowledge of low-level C-based libraries is preferred, as well as experience with performance and memory tuning using tools such as Instruments and Shark. Familiarity with cloud message APIs and push notifications, a knack for benchmarking and optimization, and proficiency in code versioning tools like Git, Mercurial, or SVN are also expected.
