Internship System Test

As an Intern at HARMAN Automotive, you will have the opportunity to test Infotainment and Cluster systems developed by HARMAN. Your main responsibility will be to validate the system software continuously using different test techniques to ensure quality software and system performance as per client/customer requirements. Additionally, you will support the development team in achieving defect-free software by identifying bugs early in the project and following the release plan of the project. - Conduct manual validation (Bench & Vehicle level) of Infotainment and Instrument Cluster. - Identify, log, and maintain defects on the system level through Exploratory and Regression Testing. - Take ownership of Test Case Engineering, maintain existing Test Suites, and add Exploratory Test Cases to Test Suite after every release. - Analyze reported problems in detail, perform Bug analysis, Bug verification, and tracking. - Independently handle both Vehicle testing and manual testing requests. - Support vehicle drive tests and long drive tests on a regular basis with the Customer. - Execute Automated test cases in Automation environments. - Technical graduate (BE/B.Tech/MCA/M.Tech) in any discipline. - Knowledge of electronics and software development life cycle. - Basic knowledge of Manual Testing and Test Techniques. - Good understanding of software and Hardware architecture. - Ability to quickly ramp up on the entire system testing perspective. - Good English skills for writing, documenting, and conversation. - Willingness to travel to different locations from the base location to attend/support issues on priority.,
