Job Opening for Telecom/ IT Estimator at Kalpataru Projects International Ltd,Mumbai- Santacruz Roles & Responsibilities Looking for an experienced Proposal Engineer to lead and manage tendering efforts for Telecom Oil & Gas projects. Experience: 9+yrs into the similar profile Key Responsibilities: Manage end-to-end proposal preparation including technical, commercial, and compliance requirements. Analyze RFQs, RFPs, and specifications for accurate bid planning. Coordinate with engineering, procurement, and estimation teams. Develop bid strategies in line with client expectations and market benchmarks. Evaluate vendor/subcontractor offers and negotiate for competitive pricing. Maintain updated knowledge of market rates and competitor activity. Having experience in Indian as well as International Telecom / IT work Estimation based on first principle. Familiar with Manhour based costing. Specially for Pipeline & Station area (.i.e. Well Pads, Manifolds, BVS, Launcher / Receiver, Process plant etc.) Thorough knowledge in Telecom / IT activities (LDS, IDS, FOC system, CCTV, SDH, Tetra Towers, Telecom System, PI system etc) and ability to preparation of Manpower and Equipment deployment schedules. Ability to generate MTO for construction materials, bulk items. Review MTOs / SOQs and comment based on scope of work and arrange to finalize. Having very good vendor and subcontractor database for Indian and Middle East regions. Sharing MRs / MTOs with vendors and subcontractors, follow up with vendors for timely offer submission, Technical and commercial evaluation, preparing comparative statements. Having ability to do Risk Assessment and Risk Mitigation Plans. Assessing Vendor Representative requirements for supervision of installation and commissioning works. Review tender documents, understand scope of work, raise clarification, where required. Requirements: Bachelor's Degree in Electronics, Telecom, or Electrical Engineering. Strong understanding of Oil & Gas (e.g., ARAMCO, Sabic,). Strong technical writing, pricing strategy, and client-facing skills.
