Job Description Position: Associate Director – Artificial Intelligence Organizations: The selected candidate with oversee the following SBUs; Health Parliament | Academy of Digital Health Sciences | International Patients’ Union Location: New Delhi Reports to President About the Role We are seeking a visionary and highly skilled Associate Director – Artificial Intelligence to lead the strategy, development, and deployment of AI-driven initiatives across platforms. The ideal candidate will combine deep technical expertise with strategic leadership and a passion for transforming healthcare through AI. This role spans three pioneering institutions: Health Parliament – A global think tank and leadership development organization shaping global healthcare policy, governance and reforms. Academy of Digital Health Sciences – leading digital health education and training. International Patients’ Union (IPU) – empowering patients and amplifying their voices globally. Key Responsibilities Strategic Leadership Develop and execute the AI strategy across healthcare policy, training, and patient engagement initiatives. Lead AI governance frameworks focusing on ethics, bias mitigation, safety, and transparency. Identify global collaborations in AI for healthcare. AI Research & Development Design, pilot, and scale AI-driven healthcare models Oversee data integration and interoperability projects ensuring compliance with GDPR, HIPAA, and other applicable guidelines. Capacity Building Represent the organizations in global forums such as WHO, UN IGF, and Commonwealth Operational Leadership Build and manage a multidisciplinary AI innovation team. Work closely with investors, regulators, and advisory boards. Qualifications Education Master’s or PhD in Artificial Intelligence, Computer Science, Data Science, and Digital Health. Certifications in AI ethics, healthcare informatics, or digital health policy are highly desirable. Experience 3–5 years of progressive experience in AI/ML with at least 2 years in healthcare AI applications. Proven track record in AI strategy, implementation, or policy advocacy at national or international level. Experience with health data governance, federated learning, natural language processing (NLP), or generative AI solutions. Skills Expertise in Python, R, TensorFlow, PyTorch, and other leading AI/ML frameworks. Understanding of digital therapeutics, telemedicine, remote monitoring, and patient engagement platforms. This connection allows patients to voice their opinions, contribute to policy formulation, gain authentic information on diseases and treatments, and learn how to better manage their conditions. Role Description This is a full-time, on-site role for an Associate in the Chairman’s Office located in New Delhi. Responsibilities include supporting the Chairman in daily tasks, coordinating meetings, managing correspondence, conducting research on health policies and patient needs, preparing presentations, and liaising with various stakeholders. The Associate will also assist in gathering patient feedback, analyzing data, and creating reports to support decision-making processes.
