Job Purpose -

To provide accurate evaluation of patent data and capture the essence succinctly. Provide support in various IP activities.


Job Accountabilities

  • Data mining from patent and non-patent literature for patent analytics and drawing inference.
  • Able to use AI based IP tools
  • Evaluate inventions and provide patentability opinions.
  • Suggesting design around for non-patentable inventions .
  • Analysing patents for presenting technological landscape reports.
  • Patent draft review and claim scoping  Support in patent drafting.
  • Review response to patent examination report and provide inputs.
  • Evaluate external publications from the perspective of IP compliance .
  • Provide support for claim overlap analysis and Standard mapping.
  • Generate content for IP awareness and support conducting training sessions
  • Compile the data required for IP Audit Skills Required (Knowledge and Skills)
  • Well versed with key concepts of 6G/5G/4G Telecommunication, Wireless Technologies, Chipsets, TCP/IP Layers etc., Cloud, Devices, Media delivery.
  • Knowledge about Intellectual property laws of India, US & EPO preferred.
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills
  • Sound knowledge about MS office and advanced functions such as excel macros and formulae including Search tools as well as AI IP tools. Key Attributes (Experience and Qualifications)
  • At least bachelor’s degree in engineering (ECE/CS) or master’s degree in science in Electronics and Communication (ECE) or Computer Science (CS)/ Information Technology.
  • Patent agent/diploma in IP/LLB (IP Hons.) (IIT KGP) will be preferred.
  • At least 3 years in related area of Technology and IP.
