Integration/Cloud Architect

Role Overview: You will be joining Volvo Cars as an Integration/Cloud Architect, where you will play a crucial role in driving digital innovation and leading technology initiatives on a global scale. Your responsibilities will involve designing and implementing solutions that align with Volvos vision for autonomous, electric, and connected vehicles. Collaboration, technical leadership, and continuous improvement will be key aspects of your role. Key Responsibilities: - Lead development and implementation using a wide range of technologies such as API (REST GraphQL SOAP), Azure, Azure Data Factory (ADF), Azure DevOps, Java, SQL, Snowflake, and more. - Design, build, and maintain scalable solutions to support global operations. - Collaborate closely with stakeholders across product management and engineering. - Promote technical excellence through code reviews, architecture decisions, and best practices. - Partner internationally using tools like Microsoft Teams, Slack, and Azure DevOps. - Participate in Agile processes, sprint planning, and share knowledge across regions. - Research emerging technologies to enhance platform capabilities and contribute to roadmap planning. - Mentor junior team members, encourage knowledge sharing, and support 24/7 operations. Qualifications Required: - 8-12 years of hands-on experience in software development, system administration, or related fields. - Deep expertise in a variety of technologies with proven implementation success. - Experience collaborating with global teams and preferred industry knowledge in automotive or enterprise software. - Advanced skills in core technologies, cloud platforms, DevOps, CI/CD pipelines, enterprise integration, and database design and optimization. - Essential soft skills including analytical thinking, collaboration, communication, leadership, problem-solving, and time management. - Business-level English fluency and flexibility to collaborate across USA time zones.
