Overview

We are seeking a highly skilled Integration Engineer with expertise in Azure API Management and .NET to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in developing and managing APIs, as well as a thorough understanding of integration patterns and best practices. This role requires a proactive individual who can work independently, as well as collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams. The position aligns with SFIA 9 Level 4 for Skill Code PROG, which emphasizes the design, development, and implementation of software solutions.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain APIs using Azure API Management and .NET technologies.
• Implement integration solutions that meet business requirements and adhere to best practices.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to gather and analyze requirements, ensuring clear communication throughout the project lifecycle.
• Perform code reviews and provide constructive feedback to ensure high-quality deliverables.
• Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to API performance, security, and functionality.
• Document integration processes, workflows, and technical specifications.
• Stay up-to-date with industry trends and emerging technologies to continuously improve integration solutions.
• Mentor junior team members and provide guidance on best practices and technical challenges.

Skills

• Proven experience with Azure API Management and .NET development.
• Strong understanding of RESTful API design principles and best practices.
• Proficiency in C# and .NET Core.
• Experience with Azure services, including Azure Functions, Logic Apps, and Service Bus.
• Familiarity with API security and authentication mechanisms, such as OAuth and JWT.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to troubleshoot complex integration issues.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team environment.
• Experience with version control systems, such as Git.
• Knowledge of Agile methodologies and experience working in an Agile development environment.
