Job Title: HR Assistant Manager Department: Human Resources Reports To: Senior HR Manager / General Manager Job Summary: The HR Assistant Manager supports the HR Manager in overseeing all human resources functions within the organization. This role involves assisting with talent acquisition, employee relations, performance management, compensation and benefits, HR policy implementation, and ensuring compliance with labor laws. The HR Assistant Manager acts as a key point of contact for employees and managers, providing guidance and support on HR-related matters. Key Responsibilities: Talent Acquisition & Onboarding: Assist in the full recruitment lifecycle, including job posting, resume screening, interviewing, and offer management. Coordinate and conduct new employee orientation and onboarding programs to ensure a smooth transition for new hires. Maintain and update recruitment tracking systems. Employee Relations: Provide guidance and support to employees and managers on HR policies, procedures, and programs. Assist in resolving employee grievances and disciplinary issues, ensuring fair and consistent application of company policies. Promote a positive work environment and foster strong employee morale. Performance Management: Support the implementation and administration of performance management cycles, including goal setting, performance reviews, and feedback processes. Assist managers in addressing performance issues and developing performance improvement plans. Compensation & Benefits: Help administer compensation and benefits programs, including payroll inputs, leave management, and benefits enrollment. Assist in annual salary reviews and benefits benchmarking. HR Policy & Compliance: Ensure compliance with all federal, state, and local labor laws and regulations. Assist in developing, updating, and communicating HR policies and procedures. Maintain accurate and up-to-date employee records. Training & Development: Support the identification of training needs and assist in coordinating and delivering training programs. Help track employee training progress and effectiveness. HR Projects & Administration: Lead or participate in various HR projects as assigned by the HR Manager. Prepare HR reports and analytics as required. Maintain HR information systems (HRIS) and ensure data accuracy. Perform other administrative duties as needed. Qualifications: Education: Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Psychology, or a related field. HR certification (e.g., SHRM-CP, PHR) is a plus. Experience: 3-5 years of progressive experience in Human Resources, with at least 1-2 years in an HR generalist or similar role. Skills: Strong knowledge of HR principles, practices, and labor laws. Excellent interpersonal and communication skills (written and verbal). Ability to handle sensitive and confidential information with discretion. Strong problem-solving and conflict resolution abilities. Proficiency in HRIS , SAP and Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint). Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
