Role Overview: We are looking for a proactive and experienced General Insurance Manager to lead and expand our General Insurance portfolio— with a strong focus on Marine Insurance and operational excellence. Key Responsibilities: Business Development & Portfolio Growth Identify and onboard corporate clients, SMEs, and channel partners for General Insurance products Drive revenue growth, with a special focus on Marine, Fire, Liability and other insurance . Build strong relationships with insurers to ensure competitive offerings and faster servicing. Monitor and grow the general insurance portfolio, tracking performance and retention. Client Relationship Management Act as a key advisor for client queries and risk needs across general insurance lines. Offer customized insurance solutions based on client profiles and industry segments. Ensure high levels of client satisfaction and retention through timely support and follow-ups. Operations & Coordination Oversee end-to-end coordination for quotations, documentation, and claim assistance. Handle operational tasks including endorsements, premium tracking, and renewals follow-up. Maintain trackers, MIS reports, and client dashboards for internal reviews and audits. Excel & Reporting Expertise Use MS Excel extensively for data analysis, MIS preparation, portfolio tracking, and forecasting. Generate insightful reports for management and client reviews. Support data hygiene and system integration across Excel.
