Instrument field engineer

You will be joining an Industry 4.0 company that specializes in AI/ML and provides comprehensive solutions for process industries, covering automation, electrical systems, and custom software products for clients. There are 6 open positions available for the role of an Instrument Field Engineer based in Tamil Nadu on a 14-month contract, which may be extended up to 24 months. This is a full-time, on-site position that involves local travel to nearby sites, necessitating effective coordination and project reporting. As an Instrument Field Engineer, your main responsibility will be to oversee the field installation of flow and other instruments connected to an RTU/SCADA system. Your tasks will include supervising multiple sites and collaborating with stakeholders to ensure project completion within set timelines. To be successful in this role, you should have experience in installing, calibrating, and maintaining field instruments, with a focus on flowmeters and pressure transmitters. Familiarity with industry standards and compliance requirements is necessary, along with the ability to read and interpret technical manuals and schematics. A Bachelor's/Diploma in Engineering, Electronics, Instrumentation, or related field is required, along with a minimum of 5 years of field experience. Strong communication and interpersonal skills are crucial, and proficiency in Tamil is essential for managing multiple sites in Tamil Nadu. You should be willing to travel for on-site installations across various locations and be adept at documentation and reporting.
