Installation Supervisor - HVDC

The opportunity You will be part of the Hitachi Energy HVDC Installation Department, responsible for executing all mechanical and electrical installation activities in delivery projects worldwide. The department supports tendering and sales by providing technical input and aids the engineering office in design development. How you'll make an impact Your primary responsibility will involve supervising installations on-site (AC and DC) in high voltage installation global projects. You will manage and guide subcontractors to ensure efficient and cost-effective completion of all installation activities, meeting contract specifications, quality standards, and safety requirements. Contributing to planning and implementing installation activities will be a key aspect of your role. You will coordinate installation activities with the Installation Manager/Site Manager and work closely with the engineering office to ensure necessary documentation is utilized on-site during execution, providing mark-ups for as-built project documentation. Building and maintaining strong relationships with both internal and external suppliers. Ensuring compliance with applicable external and internal regulations, procedures, and guidelines. Your background Technical education, preferably with a degree in Electrical or Mechanical Engineering, or relevant experience in electrical or mechanical installation work in large-scale projects. 4-6 years of work experience in a relevant field. Experience in installation supervision is beneficial. Previous involvement in HVDC or Substation projects is advantageous. Proficiency in spoken and written English is necessary for this role.
