Inspection Engineer

As an Inspection Engineer at Quest Global Engineering Services Private Limited, your role involves providing strong technical leadership in Inspection/Corrosion Management for Oil & Gas upstream/downstream assets. You will be responsible for offering technical solutions in the area of Asset Integrity, creating innovative solutions, automations, and methodologies to differentiate Quest Global. Your key responsibilities include: - Driving and managing Integrity Engineers to execute workflows with Quality at scale - Providing pre-sales support for new business deals and post-sales support for assigned projects - Leading, developing, nurturing, and managing global customer relationships - Driving strategic partnering initiatives to address unique business situations and complex technology needs - Reviewing technical scoping, estimation, fitment, and feasibility studies - Acting as a bridge between customers, sales organization, and global technical teams - Recruiting skilled resources or training internal resources to achieve targets - Making short trips as required by the business Qualifications and competencies required for this role include: - Engineering degree (Mechanical/Materials or Chemical) with 5 to 20 years of experience in the oil and gas industry - Sound knowledge of Oil & Gas upstream and downstream business in various areas including Risk Based Inspection methodologies, Fixed equipment inspection tasks/procedures, Inspection Optimization, Piping Circutization/TML development, API Damage Mechanisms of Refinery/Chemicals, and more - Working knowledge of oil and gas plant operations, operating condition safety, SHE risks, spill/safety incident, and equipment failure opportunities - Knowledge of materials, standards, corrosion, welding, NDTs, and software such as APM Meridium/Pestra/Credo - Ability to lead teams, excellent communication skills, and familiarity with Office applications Additionally, it would be beneficial to have API Certification 510/570/571/580/653, experience with Meridium/Credo/Pestra and SAP, and experience in implementing Automation, AI, IOT techniques in the Oil & Gas Portfolio.
