We are looking for a skilled Manual Tester with strong experience in the Insurance domain . The ideal candidate will have hands-on expertise in software testing methodologies, with proven ability to analyze business requirements, create test scenarios, execute manual test cases, and ensure product quality throughout the development lifecycle. Key Responsibilities Understand functional requirements and translate them into effective test scenarios and test cases. Perform manual testing across various phases including system testing, integration testing, functional testing, and UAT support. Validate end-to-end workflows and system behavior specific to insurance processes such as policy creation, renewal, claims, underwriting, endorsements, and billing. Execute test cases, document results, identify defects, and track them through resolution. Collaborate closely with Business Analysts, Developers, and Product Owners to ensure alignment between requirements and outcomes. Prepare test reports, metrics, and documentation to support project deliverables and audit requirements. Participate in Agile ceremonies and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives. Required Skills & Qualifications 36 years of experience in Manual Testing. Strong Insurance domain knowledge – Life, Health, General/Property & Casualty (any applicable experience). Hands-on experience in writing and executing test cases, test plans, and test summary reports. Practical experience with defect management tools (e.g., Jira, Azure DevOps, Bugzilla, HP ALM or similar). Strong understanding of SDLC, STLC, waterfall and/or Agile methodologies. Ability to analyze requirements, identify gaps, and propose quality improvements. Excellent communication skills with a proactive and detail-oriented approach.
