The role of a Zscaler Administrator with 8+ years of experience involves responsibilities such as planning, designing, and implementing Zscaler Proxy architecture for various projects, conducting vulnerability assessments, security testing, and risk analysis, researching and implementing security standards and best practices, testing security mechanisms, providing technical guidance and troubleshooting for Zscaler Internet Access, Zscaler Private Access, and Zscaler Client Connector, leading security awareness campaigns and training activities, and updating/upgrading security systems as required. The ideal candidate should possess strong knowledge and a minimum of 8-12 years of hands-on experience in at least 6 areas of Zscaler Proxy, including Zscaler Internet Access (ZIA) and Zscaler Private Access (ZPA). Excellent communication and organizational leadership abilities are essential for this role. Key Technical Skills required for this role include expertise in ZIA Traffic Forwarding Methods, ZIA Architecture, ZIA Policy, Zscaler Client Connector (ZCC) App Profile, ZCC Forwarding Profile, ZCC Architecture, Zscaler Proxy Auto-Configuration (PAC), ZPA Architecture, AWS App Connector Deployment, ZPA Troubleshooting, ZCC Troubleshooting, ZIA Data Loss Prevention (DLP), and ZPA App Segment & Access Policy. The Zscaler Administrator is expected to be proactive in client interactions, contribute to solution building for clients and the practice, and handle higher scale and complexity compared to a Consultant profile.
