Position : Executive Information Technology Job Type : Full Time Work Hours : Day shift / General Education Qualification : Bachelor degree in IT, Computer Science, or a related field Experience : - Work Location : Pune CTC : 2,40,000 - 3,60,000 Per Annum and shall not be constrain for right candidate Job Details and Key Responsibilities: Position Overview: The Information Technology (IT) Executive at Dr Geetanjali's HealthCare Center Private Limited is responsible for managing and overseeing the laboratory’s IT infrastructure, ensuring seamless integration of Laboratory Information Systems (LIS), data security, and regulatory compliance. This role involves working closely with laboratory staff, management, and external vendors to optimize digital workflows, troubleshoot technical issues, and implement new technologies to enhance efficiency and accuracy in diagnostic processes. Key Responsibilities: 1. IT Infrastructure & System Management: a. Oversee the installation, configuration, and maintenance of Laboratory Information Systems (LIS) , Electronic Medical Records (EMR) , and other IT solutions. b. Manage and maintain network security, servers, and databases to ensure system reliability and uptime. c. Ensure integration of laboratory instruments with LIS for automated data capture and analysis. d. Monitor and troubleshoot hardware, software, and connectivity issues . e. Coordinate with IT support teams to resolve technical problems efficiently. 2. Data Security & Compliance: a. Ensure data privacy and security in compliance with HIPAA, GDPR, NABL, CAP, and other relevant regulatory standards . b. Implement cybersecurity measures to protect patient data and lab information from threats. c. Conduct regular system audits and data backup procedures to prevent data loss. d. Manage user access controls and permissions to maintain data integrity. 3. Software & Application Management: a. Collaborate with software vendors to upgrade and maintain LIS and Laboratory applications . b. Develop and maintain custom software applications for internal lab workflows. c. Train lab personnel on software usage, troubleshooting, and best practices . d. Automate repetitive processes to enhance operational efficiency . 4. IT Support & Training: a. Provide technical support to laboratory staff for IT-related issues. b. Develop and implement IT policies and procedures for efficient operations. c. Train lab employees on IT best practices, data entry, and system navigation . d. Coordinate with external IT service providers for outsourced technical support . 5. Innovation & Digital Transformation: a. Evaluate and recommend new technologies to improve lab efficiency and accuracy through AI and cloud based solutions, and automation tools where applicable. b. Support API and remote EDC integration with laboratory systems. c. Ensure seamless data interoperability with healthcare providers and hospital systems . 6. Vendor & Budget Management: a. Manage relationships with IT vendors, service providers, and software developers . b. Prepare and monitor IT budgets to ensure cost-effective solutions. c. Negotiate contracts for software licenses, hardware, and IT services . Qualifications & Skills: Educational Background: Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in IT, Computer Science, or a related field. Additional certifications such as CISSP, ITIL, Microsoft Certified, or PMP are a plus. Technical Skills: Expertise in LIS, HIS, EMR, and medical IT systems . Strong knowledge of database management (SQL, Oracle, etc.) . Experience with cloud computing (AWS, Azure, Google Cloud) . Proficiency in network security, firewalls, and cybersecurity protocols . Familiarity with HL7, DICOM, and other healthcare interoperability standards . Soft Skills: Excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting abilities . Strong communication and leadership skills . Ability to train and support non-technical staff . High attention to detail and commitment to data accuracy and security .
