Industrial Product Design Engineer-HVAC

As an Industrial Product Design Engineer specializing in HVAC products, you will be a valuable member of our engineering team based in Bangalore. Your primary responsibility will be the design and development of HVAC products utilizing Solid Edge CAD software. You will play a crucial role in various stages of product development, from concept design to manufacturing and testing support. Key Responsibilities: - Design and enhance HVAC products, both new and existing, through the utilization of Solid Edge software. - Create detailed 3D models and engineering drawings for mechanical components and sheet metal. - Conduct engineering calculations and analysis to ensure product performance, reliability, and adherence to industry standards such as ASHRAE and AMCA. - Collaborate with different teams including manufacturing, sales, and quality assurance to facilitate product development and launch. - Develop and maintain accurate Bill of Materials (BOMs) and technical documentation. - Participate in prototype development, testing, and validation of HVAC components and systems. - Contribute to continuous improvement projects and cost-reduction initiatives. - Address design-related issues, offer technical support to production and customers, and ensure designs comply with safety regulations and company standards. Qualification Required: - Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field. - Minimum of 5 years of experience in mechanical design, with a preference for HVAC or related industries. - Proficiency in Solid Edge for modeling, assembly, and drafting purposes. - Familiarity with sheet metal design, GD&T, and fabrication processes. - Strong knowledge of HVAC principles and industry standards. - Experience with ERP systems and engineering change control processes. - Excellent problem-solving abilities, communication skills, and a collaborative mindset.
