Key Responsibilities 1. Recruitment and Onboarding • Handle full-cycle recruitment from job posting to final joining. • Ensure smooth onboarding and orientation, including documentation and welcome process. 2. Employee Induction and Training • Conduct structured employee induction programs. • Design and implement induction training schedules with departmental coordination. 3. Policy Implementation & Review • Ensure proper implementation of HR policies across all departments. • Review, update, and communicate policy changes in line with legal and company needs. 4. KRA & KPI Definition • Define measurable Key Result Areas (KRA) and Key Performance Indicators (KPI) for all new hires. 5. Manpower Mapping & Shortage Adjustment • Monitor daily manpower deployment and make adjustments for absenteeism or workload fluctuations. 6. Contractor Management • Assess manpower requirements and onboard new contractors when necessary. • Ensure contractor records and agreements are maintained. 7. Registers and CLRA Compliance • Maintain registers under the CLRA and ensure compliance with inspections and audits. 8. Statutory Compliance • Ensure 100% compliance with: • ESIC • EPF • Factory Licence • PCB • Employment Exchange • Minimum Wages Act • Apprentices Act • Building Stability, etc. • Monitor timelines for filing returns and maintaining legal documentation. 9. Training & Development • Prepare and execute an Annual Training Calendar. • Organize training sessions with internal and external faculty. • Track training effectiveness and maintain training records. 10. Performance Management • Design and roll out a Performance Management System aligned with company objectives. • Ensure timely performance reviews and appraisals. 11. Grievance Redressal • Handle grievances of employees and contract workers promptly and effectively. • Maintain proper documentation and resolution records. 12. Discipline Management • Enforce company discipline through proactive policies, training, and fair action. • Issue show cause notices, warning letters, and take appropriate disciplinary measures. 13. Legal & Industrial Relations • Handle labor issues and employee-related legal matters. • Represent the company in labor and industrial disputes as necessary. 14. Payroll & Billing Review • Review monthly payroll sheets before processing. • Verify contractor bills and forward for final approval and payment. 15. Government Liaison • Act as company representative with: • DLC • ALC • Factory Inspector • DC, etc. • Ensure timely communication and documentation for inspections and approvals. 16. Employee Motivation Calendar • Prepare and execute an annual calendar of motivational and cultural activities. 17. Daily HOD Coordination • Conduct daily meetings with HODs to review manpower status, policy updates, and operations.
