It encompasses creative literature (both written and oral), visual arts such as architecture, sculpture, painting, graphics, photography, and film, as well as performing arts including music, dance, and theater. The IGNCA aims to foster a deeper understanding of the arts and cultural heritage. It operates under the guidance of the IGNCA Trust, which was established in New Delhi on 24 March 1987. Role Description This is a full-time on-site role for an English Teacher at IGNCA, located in Virpur. The English Teacher will be responsible for planning and delivering engaging lessons, fostering a positive learning environment, and developing educational content to support students’ growth. The role requires assessing students’ progress, providing constructive feedback, and working collaboratively with other educators to ensure excellence in teaching and learning. Qualifications Proficiency in English Teaching, including strong command of grammar and language skills Experience in Lesson Planning and developing structured education plans Knowledge of effective Teaching methods and Education principles Excellent Communication skills to engage and motivate students effectively Relevant teaching certification or a degree in English, Education, or a related field Proven ability to manage a classroom and address diverse learning needs Familiarity with modern teaching tools and technology is a plus Experience in arts education is desirable
