This role is ideal for someone passionate about storytelling, current affairs, and visual content creation. Your primary responsibility will be to turn written news stories into engaging videos for platforms like Instagram Reels, YouTube Shorts, and other social media. Responsibilities: Script concise, engaging scripts for video content Create news videos based on written articles in dynamic, creative formats Collaborate with the editorial team to identify stories with video potential Record professional voiceovers in fluent English with clear pronunciation and tone Produce breaking news shorts quickly and efficiently for timely dissemination Assist in brainstorming creative treatments and visual formats for various stories Stay up to date with social media trends and best practices for video content Requirements: Excellent command of spoken and written English Clear, confident voice and ability to deliver engaging voiceovers Basic video editing skills using tools like CapCut, Adobe Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro, Canva, or similar Ability to write and edit scripts under tight deadlines Strong interest in news, current affairs, and social-first journalism Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment What you'll gain: Potential for full-time opportunity based on performance Creative freedom to experiment with formats and storytelling styles Experience of working with a fast-growing digital news platform A strong portfolio of impactful news videos
