Imports Customer Service Executive (US Shift)

Role & Responsibilities:-

• Ensure compliance with customs, port, and terminal requirements for import shipments.
• Monitor cargo movement and provide timely shipment status updates to customers, agents, and internal stakeholders.
• Prepare and send Arrival Notices and follow up on Proof of Delivery (POD).
• Coordinate delivery schedules and obtain delivery confirmations.
• Handle customer queries promptly and ensure high-quality customer service.
• Resolve operational issues, disputes, and claims in coordination with the relevant teams.
• Communicate effectively with customers, overseas agents, and internal inbound and outbound stakeholders.
• Act as the primary point of contact for customers regarding import shipment-related queries.
• Prepare and maintain MIS reports, operational reviews, and performance analysis.
• Ensure timely follow-ups and smooth coordination throughout the import shipment lifecycle.

Preferred Candidate Profile:-

• Must have experience in the freight forwarding and logistics industry.
• Good understanding of Ocean Import Operations and EXIM documentation.
• Strong customer service orientation and a result-driven approach.
• Excellent spoken and written English communication skills.
• Proficiency in MS Office and the ability to work with internal systems and MIS tools.
• Strong coordination, problem-solving, and analytical skills.
• Ability to manage multiple shipments and resolve customer queries efficiently.
• Candidates with prior experience handling international customers and overseas agents will be preferred.

Shift Timings:-

• Male Candidates:

  3:00 PM to 11:00 PM

• Female Candidates:

  12:00 PM to 8:00 PM or 2:00 PM to 10:00 PM
• Candidates must be comfortable working in the assigned shift with six-day workweek coverage.
