Import Customer Service

• Manage end-to-end customer service activities for FCL, LCL and Air Import shipments.
• Handle customer inquiries, shipment status updates, and service-related requests promptly.
• Coordinate with overseas agents, shipping lines, airlines, transporters and customs brokers.
• Track shipments and proactively communicate delays, schedule changes and exceptions to customers.
• Coordinate import documentation, including arrival notices, delivery orders, bills of lading, air waybills and other relevant documents.
• Ensure timely cargo clearance and delivery in coordination with operations and customs teams.
• Maintain accurate shipment records, trackers and customer communication logs.
• Resolve customer complaints and operational issues efficiently.
• Coordinate with pricing, sales, finance and operations teams to ensure smooth shipment handling.
• Monitor service levels, meet agreed timelines and maintain strong customer relationships.

Required Skills & Competencies

• Strong understanding of FCL, LCL and Air Import processes.
• Knowledge of import documentation, shipment tracking and delivery coordination.
• Excellent communication, customer-handling and coordination skills.
• Strong problem-solving abilities and attention to detail.
• Proficiency in MS Office, particularly Excel, and logistics systems or portals.
• Ability to manage multiple shipments and priorities in a fast-paced environment.
• Customer-centric mindset with a focus on service quality and timely execution.

Preferred Qualifications

• Graduate in any discipline; logistics or supply chain qualifications are an advantage.
• 2–4 years of relevant experience in Import Customer Service within the freight forwarding industry.
• Practical experience handling FCL, LCL and Air Import shipments.
• Candidates with experience in international freight forwarding will be preferred.

Pay: From ₹700,000.00 per year
