Basic Requirements: Experience: 0.7 Years to 5 Years Specialties :ED Coder Salary: Best in Industry Shift: Day Location: Chennai Key Responsibilities: Review and assign appropriate ICD-10, CPT, and HCPCS codes to emergency department encounters. Ensure accurate and timely coding for all emergency department services, procedures, and diagnoses. Adhere to all HIPAA regulations and patient confidentiality protocols. Resolve coding discrepancies or issues by reviewing medical records and collaborating with clinical staff. Assist with the preparation and submission of claims to insurance providers and government payers. Stay current with emergency department-specific coding guidelines and industry best practices.
