Role & responsibilities : 1. Sales & Business Development Achieve regional sales targets of Primary Plasticizer in line with overall business objectives. Develop new customers and segments to expand market penetration in the Western region. Identify opportunities for cross-selling and up-selling within the plasticizer product range. Monitor competitor activities, pricing, and market trends to provide timely feedback to management. 2. Customer Relationship Management Build and maintain strong, long-term relationships with key accounts, distributors, and OEMs. Ensure timely resolution of customer issues and queries. Conduct periodic customer visits to strengthen business relationships and ensure service excellence. 3. Planning & Execution Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual sales plans and forecasts. Ensure effective execution of marketing strategies, promotional activities, and product launches in the region. Collaborate with supply chain and production teams to ensure timely order fulfillment and delivery. 4. Commercial & Collection Management Monitor outstanding payments and ensure adherence to company credit policy. Negotiate pricing, terms, and contracts in alignment with company guidelines. Track sales performance and report on key metrics to senior management. 5. Team & Coordination Lead, motivate, and guide the regional sales team (if applicable). Coordinate closely with the technical, logistics, and finance teams for seamless business operations. Key Skills & Competencies: Strong knowledge of Plasticizer / Petrochemical / Chemical industry and applications. Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills. Strategic thinking and analytical mindset. Proficiency in sales forecasting, planning, and reporting. Customer-centric approach with strong problem-solving ability. Qualification & Experience: Qualification: B.E./B.Tech (Chemical) and/or MBA (Marketing preferred). Experience: 1015 years of experience in B2B sales of Plasticizers / Petrochemicals / Chemical intermediates, with minimum 5 years in a regional managerial role. Preferred Exposure: Western India market with established industry network in PVC, resin, paints, or allied sectors.
