Role Overview: As the GM – Sales, you will lead and manage the entire sales value chain — Pre-Sales, Sales, and Post-Sales — for luxury projects under Reliance Builders. The ideal candidate is a strategic thinker with a proven track record of driving revenue growth, nurturing high-performance teams, and building customer-centric systems. You will be responsible for positioning Reliance Builders’ sales vertical as a growth engine, ensuring brand-aligned customer journeys and delivering on conversion and satisfaction metrics. Key Responsibilities: Sales Strategy & Leadership Define and execute a comprehensive sales strategy luxury villa projects. Build monthly, quarterly, and annual sales targets across projects and drive team-level accountability. Continuously analyse sales funnel metrics to optimize team efficiency, lead utilization, and closure rates. Represent the sales function in leadership meetings and collaborate with marketing, CRM, product planning, and finance teams. Pre-Sales Management Set up and refine SOPs for pre-sales operations, including lead qualification, CRM workflow, and nurturing mechanisms. Work with digital and offline marketing teams to ensure timely feedback loops on campaign effectiveness. Implement automation tools to improve pre-sales efficiency and lead response TAT. Sales Execution Oversee all site-level and central sales teams, ensuring training, performance reviews, and incentive alignment. Lead customer engagement strategies — from first call to site visits, negotiations, and closures. Mentor sales managers and executives on solution selling, value communication, and objection handling. Champion pricing intelligence, competitor benchmarking, and market feedback to help management with pricing and positioning decisions. Post-Sales & Customer Experience Design and monitor seamless post-booking customer journeys — documentation, collections, communication, and handover readiness. Work closely with CRM, legal, and finance teams to ensure compliance, timely agreements, and resolution of queries. Establish a strong framework for customer relationship management that enhances referrals, testimonials, and satisfaction scores. Team Development Build and nurture a high-performance culture across all sales teams. Create learning and development frameworks with periodic training on soft skills, digital tools, product knowledge, and luxury segment engagement. Plan manpower needs and recruit skilled professionals aligned to the brand's growth trajectory. Key Competencies: Deep understanding of real estate lifecycle in luxury villa sales and customer behaviour. Leadership experience in scaling up sales teams and setting up systems and SOPs. Hands-on knowledge of CRM platforms (like Salesforce, Zoho, or equivalent). Strong business acumen, negotiation skills, and ability to communicate with senior stakeholders. Data-driven and process-oriented mindset with the ability to implement tech-enabled solutions. Excellent communication, presentation, and people management skills. Preferred Background: Proven track record of success in handling sales for luxury villa projects (mandatory). Prior leadership role in a reputed real estate developer.
